Established in 1966, the Association of German Advertising Film Producers joined the “German Producers Alliance” (PA) umbrella association, the country’s biggest community of film producers, in 2010, becoming the PA’s Advertising Section. We aim to give our members a voice while focusing on helping them be competitive. We offer advice and support. We organise workshops and programmes at universities to encourage new talent; provide quality training for our members; promote creativity; and work to raise awareness of international trends. Our mission is to represent the business interests of the moving images sector and to do this we cooperate with the Association of Leading Communication Agencies (GWA) and all relevant industry associations to establish consistent production standards. Together with our members we are working to shape a successful future for German advertising film producers.

The Producers' Alliance / Advertising Section sees itself as a strategic alliance of equal partners to achieve common goals.
The Compass of Values has been created as an orientation aid along our many decision-making processes.
This etiquette serves all members of the association as a recommendation for action in their daily interaction.
The aim is to ensure the high quality standards of our productions and to strengthen cohesion within the alliance.
The German Advertising Film Academy.
The Advertising Film Academy is our platform for ideas, visions and discussions. In addition, we bundle our commitment to promoting young talent in the academy. Workshops are held, talent is supported and outstanding work is honored – at the annual presentation of the German Advertising Film Prize in 12 categories.
